I will be forever excited about weddings, and when these photos came though from Camilla and Geoff of their cotswolds wedding at The Rectory in Malmsbury, I was just so happy! We put so much work and effort into creating your wedding flowers for your big day. So it is always so special to receive professional images of your big day, where we can see everything come together perfectly! Camilla and Geoff were married in June at the local church next to The Rectory and then held their reception next door at the beautiful hotel.

I have the most beautiful summer wedding blooms at Kingscote Barn to share with you today! Laura and Scott were married at the end of June on one of the hottest days of the year so far, remember that time when we had endless sun and all we wore were shorts?! When I first met Laura she told me she wanted flowers everywhere and it was clear to see she had great taste and really did want to put flowers everywhere in the barn! June is such a great time of year to get married with peonies being the superstar flower of the month. Originally Laura wanted to go for ivory and blush seasonal flowers, however when she clapped eyes on the coral peonies we decided to add in coral tones too. I am so glad we did, as adding in the coral really added warmth and depth and suited the hot summers day at Kingscote Barn perfectly! The photos from Rob Tarren are just gorgeous! It’s times like this when you see everything come together perfectly on the day that I really do love my job… what a wedding!
The day we had all been waiting for finally arrived yesterday, the wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle. I apologise now for the gushiness of this post, but come on… what a wedding! From an industry point of view any high profile wedding is big news for those who work in weddings, influencing upcoming trends and what our couples will look for on their big day. Let alone the royal wedding of the century (sorry, Wills and Kate who?!) I have admired Megan as soon as she came into our public eye for her strong views on women and race equality and her work ethic saying she wants to be a ‘woman who works, not a lady who lunches’ Serious high fives to the girl, she is the strong, inspiration role model all our girls need right now. Aside from that she seriously knows how to pick a dress, that Stella McCartney halter neck is the dress of dreams, and her Givenchy wedding dress is the epitome of class and elegance with that boat neck line and the veil of all veils. They could not look more in love and I loved every moment!
