I cannot wait to share these wedding flowers at Cripps Barn with you! One of my favourite weddings this summer it was a serious pleasure to work with Bec and Jimmy on their wedding. We filled Cripps Barn with all the foliage and ivory seasonal blooms, creating such impact! Here are the beautiful images from Photography by Krishanti of their big day, some pretty hot wedding inspo right here!
I worked on the most beautiful summer wedding flowers at Llangoed Hall in August! Daisy and John were married at the house where Laura Ashley used to live, so of course we were going to fill it with flowers! Known for her floral designs, I remember having Laura Ashley wallpaper as a child growing up, multicoloured pastel bold prints… sounds pretty crazy, but I am sure it would be back in fashion now… maybe!
As we enter into October, it is the perfect time to discuss autumn wedding flowers and here is my guide to the top ten autumn wedding flowers! I love this time of year, when the season turns from late summer into autumn, there is nothing better than a crisp blue skies against the trees when they are slowly turning from green to the yellow/orange and red tones. Quite often, couples view autumn wedding flowers as having to be in these tones, however there are so many other options. Plums and deep burgundy shades are just stunning and by adding in some blush you can lighten this up. Muted mocha and cappuccino colours work beautifully with burnt orange and chocolate and is a much more sophisticated colour way for this time of year. Autumn is all about texture and foliage so go heavy on various types of greenery with berries, twigs and branches.
I have the most beautiful Caswell House wedding flowers to share with you today! Lyndsey and Matt were married back in June in peony season and choose the most stunning soft blush and ivory colour palette. This complimented the gorgeous Caswell House in the cotswolds perfectly. Lyndsey found me through her amazing photographer Naomi Kenton, who I have worked with various times on weddings. Her photography is out of the world! You will see from the photos what a lovely couple Lyndsey and Matt are and how they styled their wedding day to perfection at Caswell House.
