Spring Wedding Flowers in Bristol – Pretty Plum and Pink
On the blog today I have some gorgeous spring wedding flower inspiration working with a beautiful colour way of plum, pale pink and ivory. If you are getting married in Bristol and Bath and want some wedding flower inspiration feast your eyes on this!
This hand tied bouquet was made in a natural, rustic style and filled with such seasonal beauties! Lilac is a staple for spring and coming in this dusky lilac is perfect for the softer spring wedding flowers, the lilac sat fab next to these amazing purple parrot tulips and hellebores. Fritillary are also a good choice for early spring and I love the green foliage they arrive with, as its so bouncy and adds lots of movement when used in bouquets. For the star of the show these pale pink Clooney ranunculus. They are a much bigger ranunculus and the way the petals fall is just perfect, an absolute must for any spring wedding bouquet!
I added in white narcissi to the bouquet for scent as it is always important to use scent within a wedding bouquet, as it evokes such memories when you come to smell them again in the future. Another star of the bouquet would be these dark plum scabious, they were at the market that morning and I couldn’t resist them as I knew they would add something interesting to these wedding flowers.
I love using all types of foliage as this can make the difference between a good bouquet and an amazing bouquet! Here I used berried eucalyptus, asparagus fern, flowering viburnum which has lovely dark green foliage but tiny white flowers. I also added in a few sprigs on white blossom which is great for this time of year. It looks just as fab in a big vase on its own!
Finished off with soft green and ivory trailing ribbons this is such a god option for a spring wedding bouquet if you are looking for more subtle, softer spring wedding colour way. If you are a couple getting married in the Bristol, Bath or Somerset area and are looking for wedding flowers then I would love to be able to help! Rachel@theroseshed.co.uk
