The beauty of meadow flowers…

I have always loved wild and wonderful flowers and the view of a meadow filled with naturally growing flowers can be a magical one. The Rose Shed offers the opportunity to get back to nature with your wedding flowers, by using home grown, hand picked, British flowers.

Home grown, British flowers tend to have a natural, rustic, flowing way about them, making them perfect for loose arrangements. This bridal bouquet is filled with aquilegia, ragged robin, daisys, buplerum, lupins, cat mint and cow parsley. I love the mixture of textures and colours, and the way the bouquet looks so alive. Tied with a multi-coloured quirky ribbon that finishes the look of perfectly.

Wedding flowers arranged in this informal, rustic way is becoming increasingly popular. The natural, unstructured look suits weddings that are heading towards a more relaxed, laid back type of day. Greenery is just as important as the flowers and I love to use a variety of foliage within my work, particularly herbs and grasses.

Beautiful, seasonal, home grown flowers at your wedding… What more could you want?! Well, maybe the sun to shine, but  that is a different matter all together! xxx
