I love spring wedding flowers, today on the blog at Haselbury Mill! After the dark, cold winter it is so lovely when the spring varieties begin to appear offering hope in a more colourful way! Emma and Richard were married at Haselbury Mill in Somerset, and choose soft pinks and dusky lilac spring tones for their wedding flowers. Featuring blowsy pale pink ranunculus, wax flower, ‘Memory Lane’ roses, astrantia and lisianthus. It was important to add the plum astrantia in to give the look a bit more depth and not make it too pastel for a February wedding, Emma still wanted something a touch wintery to reflect the month.
Emma and her bridesmaids carried hand tied bouquets, whilst the boys wore ‘Memory lane’ dusky lilac roses. Haselbury Mill is a huge barn so I used large stone urns to decorate the ceremony with low glass vases for the tables. A really lovely, spring wedding with all the freshness of the new season with the ivory and pale pink tones, but still holding onto the warmth from the deep plum. Thanks so much to Emma for sending these photographs through! Credit:
