Last summer seemed to whizz by in a whirlwind of blooms and beautiful weddings, so it is so lovely to receive photos of my couple’s big day in the gloomy winter months! Here are Jackie and Alex getting hitched at the beautiful Cripps Stone Barn. Thanks to Kerry Diamond for sending this beautiful selection of photos through.

Jackie wanted to focus on blush, ivory and soft peach tones for her summer weddings, and peonies featured heavily! The bouquets contained ivory and blush peonies, David Austin roses, dahlias, sweet peas and veronica. Finished off with touches of soft grey eucalyptus and senecio. I love this photo below of the beautiful bridal party!

Cripps Stone Barn was decorated with the same peach, blush and ivory wedding flowers. I created two large flower balls in the ceiling filled with mixed foliage, hydrangea, larkspur and stocks. The ceremony table was dressed with mercury glass urns and two special flower chair backs hung onto the bride and groom chairs.

The long tables were dressed with low silver, mercury glass urns filled with stocks, dahlias, peonies, lisianthus and roses. These vases were a new addition to my workshop and have proved very popular since! The urns were placed on log slices, and in between arrangements succulents in mercury glass votives were placed amongst moss. This added a real natural feel to the tables, offering lots more colour and texture.

I placed loose single blooms in clusters on this rustic cake, just adding some pops of colour! I loved working on this wedding and so glad you guys had an amazing day and I look forward to working back at Cripps Stone Barn again this year.
