Combe House Hotel Wedding Flowers – Lynn and Pete

October is becoming more popular with couples looking to get married in the South West, the autumnal feel in the air and the soft light adds to the romance of the day! Lynn and Pete got married at Combe House Hotel, Holford, a fab hotel on the Quantocks in Somerset. When I first met Lynn she brought along her wedding shoes which were an amazing warm pink colour so the wedding decoration was based around the shoes!

Lynn wanted to use pale pink through to warm pink tones but for the wedding flowers to have a vintage feel in keeping with her decorations throughout the day. The brides bouquet contained soft pink O Hara roses, blousy Sweet Avalanche roses, magenta hydrangea florets, cerise ranunculus and cerise Piano roses. I softened the bouquet by using pale pink astilbe, astrantia with senecio and berried eucalyptus foliage. Such a sumptuous bouquet I loved it!

Megan, the flower girl carried a smaller version of the brides bouquet… isn’t she just the cutest! The tables were decorated with soft pink, warm pink with a touch of burgundy flowers in these vintage looking planters. I managed to add in some home grown pink and burgundy dahlias to the table centres too!

Both Lynn and Pete had a wonderful wedding day and I hope you enjoy these few snapshots taken by their clever photographer friend Phil. Thanks for sending over! xx
