Peachy summer wedding flowers

30th March 2017

I love these beautiful pastel peach and blush wedding flowers from a summer wedding just outside Bath. Helen choose romantic, seasonal blooms in ivory, peach and pale pink for her church wedding, followed by a marquee reception in her parents garden, which was luckily next door to the church! This was such a pretty wedding filled with lots of lovely details, all organised by Steph at Sweet and Pretty wedding planners.

Every wedding needs a floral heart, and this one was hung on Helen’s parents front door. The perfect welcome and even better will last for the week after the wedding too! Don’t the bridesmaids look super stunning in their pale blue dresses? These complement the tones of the flowers perfectly and work so well for summer weddings.

The church was dressed with large urns, pew ends and a wild, natural foliage arch either side of the entrance… I’m sad I don’t have a good photo of this to share as it looked great on the day. Filled with organic foliage branches covering the entrance to the church. Helen’s bouquet was filled with beautiful scented O Hara roses, locally grown dahlias, cosmos, spray roses with lots of natural foliage, finished off by stunning silk ribbon from Lancaster and Cornish.

Inside the marquee I used my mercury glass low urns, filled with a natural arrangement of seasonal blooms and trailing soft grey foliage. There was lots of extra special touches on the tables from Table to Dine For, beautiful soft grey table cloths, gold cutlery and coloured napkins, making this wedding not your average marquee wedding! The finished result was truly fantastic! Thank you to Richard Skins Photography.
