Bristol Winter Wedding Flowers – A Winter Wedding full of Paper Whites

I love a good winter wedding! Especially one with such beautiful flowers, and this one features paper whites, a variety of narcissus which has a beautiful scent. I made the bridal bouquet from paper whites, viburnum foliage, and small pieces of honeysuckle which remarkably was still flowering in the garden! The tiny pale yellow centres of the narcissi match the yellow of the honeysuckle and adds that extra bit of texture and interest to the bouquet.

I finished the bridal bouquet with ivory satin ribbon, secured with pearl headed pins. Delicate buttonholes of narcissi and viburnum, foliage complement the bridal bouquet perfectly and will exude a fabulous scent all day.

Glass fish bowls were filled with paper whites, honeysuckle and viburnum foliage for the reception table centres. It is so lovely to use scented flowers within wedding flowers as the scent will fill the venue that you are hosting your reception in, adding that extra special touch to your big day.

Even Murray the rough, tough Jack Russell was drawn to the smell of the paper whites, this has to be one of my favourite photos!! What a cutie!
