Tortworth Court Wedding Flowers – Bristol Wedding Florist

I always get so excited when past couples email me photos of their wedding day! Huge thanks to Kim who sent me some beautiful pics alongside the most lovely thank you email. It was a pleasure to work on their wedding flowers and I hope you enjoy this little preview. Photos from West Photography. The big day took place at Tortworth Court, Wooten-under-Edge on December 30th and Kim wanted to focus on seasonal winter flowers in ivory with lots of winter foliage. The flowers I used were white hellebores, narcissi, anemone, roses, white thistle with eucalyptus, spruce and rustic twigs.

Kim sent me the most lovely email after the wedding and was most insistent I use her review of me… so here you go….!

After getting engaged, my fiancée and I moved to America which made the organisation of our UK wedding a little more complicated. Last summer I found The Rose Shed, Rachel was brilliant when fitting us in during our brief times in the UK, and she made the whole process very easy and relaxed, which is exactly what a bride-to-be needs!

I know little about flowers, but had some basic ideas of the look I liked for the bouquets, after talking with Rachel for a few minutes she really understood what I was looking for (despite my poor explanations!). Rachel put together the quote later that day with details of all the flowers; she was so efficient.

On the morning of our wedding, through the torrential wind and rain, Rachel delivered the flowers and I cannot describe the feeling I had when I saw them, the were incredible- more beautiful than I had ever imagined! The individual flowers worked so perfectly, with the style and colours looking fabulous. I cannot thank Rachel enough for her hard work, she clearly has a very natural talent and eye for what will look stunning.”

Such lovely words Kim and I am thrilled you loved your flowers as much as I did! Happy faces all round 🙂 xxx
