Spring buttonhole inspiration – Bristol wedding florist

When planning wedding flowers it is so important not to forget the boys! I have some beautiful buttonhole inspiration to share with you today, stunning examples of spring flowers that are perfect for buttonholes for spring weddings!

I stuck to ivory and blush spring flowers for these buttonholes, and created tiny mixed buttonholes tied together with exquisite silk ribbon. The soft grey foliage and pale pink jasmine fronds provide the perfect accompaniment to these spring blooms.

Crisp white hellebores are the perfect choice for December to March weddings. Here I have teamed this beauty with rosemary sprigs, lisianthus buds, trailing jasmine fronds and eucalyptus.

I love these white anemone, with black centres that provide a more elegant feel, idea for a winter/spring wedding. Here I have used pale grey senecio, which has a velvet feel to it, alongside asparagus fern and jasmine.

Majolika spray rose is a favourite of mine to use within wedding flowers, its soft dusky ivory tones make it the perfect choice for brides. I have used it alongside white hellebores, senecio and berried eucalyptus sprigs here.

Hellebores come in a range of colours from white to pink to dark purple to spotty! I love this soft pink tone this hellebore has, alongside the scented ginista sprigs and asparagus fern, this completes the spring buttonhole selection!

A great idea is for each buttonhole to be slightly different, but still in the same colour way and style. You can see this look really clearly in the photo above! The buttonholes are all linked by the soft ivory and blush tones and the beautiful silk ribbon.

Thank you to Hannah Duffy Photography for these stunning photos!
