Sarah and Tim at Foxhill Manor, the Cotswolds
I have the most beautiful cotswolds wedding flowers to share with you today! Sarah and Tim were married at Foxhill Manor last summer and choose super stylish, peach and ivory tones for their big day! It ws the first time I had worked at this venue, and it didn’t disappoint. Foxhill Manor is the most beautiful country hotel, the perfect setting for a cotswolds wedding! Filled with David Austin roses, dahlias, astilbe and astrantia I absolutely loved making these wedding flowers. Please enjoy these photos from Noami Kenton.
The bouquets were filled with David Austin ‘Juliet’ roses, astrantia, astilbe, dahlias, scabious, lisianthus with peach hypericum, lots of soft foliage and grasses. Sarah’s bouquet was finished off with trailing silk ribbon in the most stunning peach and ivory colours… Love!! The boys had spray rose buttonholes tied with ivory ribbon.
This pretty Cotswolds church was decorated with beautiful pew ends down the aisle, and large statement urns. I used a beautiful combination of roses here, scented blush O Hara roses (my favourite in the whole world, I had them in my wedding bouquet!) mocha coloured cappuccino roses, and peach David Austin roses. I just adore these soft peach tones, with the floaty foliage and grasses. The perfect accompaniment to any wedding ceremony!
At Foxhill Manor I dressed the mantel piece with a large arrangement, the top table sits infront so it is important to make a real feature of this. The tables were decorated with glass votives filled with natural, seasonal blooms sat around a candelabra, offering a real elegant touch to the room.
Cut glass bowls were placed around the room filled with beautiful flowers, and the top table was decorated with lower glass vases too. I love how we used Sarah’s bouquet on the top table too, for extra decoration. Just look at those trailing Lancaster and Cornish ribbons!
I absolutely loved working on Sarah and Tim’s wedding. Such elegant and classy colours… but beautifully loose and natural flowers!
