Leigh Court Winter Wedding Flowers

As we are fast approaching Christmas, I am slipping out of wedding mode here at The Rose Shed after creating my very last wedding flowers for the year!  Kate was married at Leigh Court over the weekend and choose such stunning wedding flowers in pale pink, red and cerise tones with winter foliage. I used a mix of ranunculus which are great at this time of year, a small blousy flower with tons of texture! Also in the bouquets I used rich red spray roses and pale pink ‘Sweet Avalanche’ roses.

To add winter texture and interest I used blue spruce which has the most amazing festive smell, berried ecualtypus, normal eucalyptus with red skimmia and pink pepper berries. I just loved this combination for wedding flowers, which still looked wintery and festive however by using a mix of pinks amongst the red I created a romantic look to the flowers also.

The boys wore mix buttonholes of red, pale pink and cerise ranunculus with red spray roses and berried euc finished off with gold ribbon!

Leigh Court was dressed with lots of gold glittered, jam jars filled with the above seasonal flowers providing lots of colour on the table. Congratulations to the happy couple!
