I have the most beautiful Elmore Court Wedding Flowers to share with you today on the blog. Amie and James were married in August at this stunning Cotswold venue, and we completely filled the space with beautiful blooms! Amie had chosen a colour palette of blush pinks, ruby reds with deeper reds and I adore this look. Super stylish, elegant yet modern and the warming tones work so well at Elmore Court. Amie opted for a luxurious, elegant, sophisticated look to her bouquets and wanted roses to feature heavily. I used varieties such as Sweet Avalanche, Red Naomi and Avalanche with touches of foliage in between. Her bridesmaids carried similar bouquets and they looked stunning against the pale pink rose dresses!
I absolutely love it when we get to do Elmore Court wedding flowers... the great hall is the perfect ceremony space and creates a great opportunity for a statement floral arch. Having such a focal floral piece frames the couple during the ceremony and as you can see looks fantastic in the photos! I love how the rich red and blush pink florals are in the background throughout, just adding that luxurious, romantic feel to the ceremony with Amie and James of course being the gorgeous pair that they are centre stage! By using lots of foliage varieties such as eucalyptus, pistache and ruskus you can create a really textured base to your arch, which will truly allow the blousy flowers to shine on top.
After the ceremony guests move onto the Gillyflower, which is an amazing space where the wedding breakfast is held. A more modern feel than the Great Hall, the Gillyflower is the perfect space to celebrate as a newly married couple and is a brilliant party space too! Having been to a wedding there myself, as a guest... I know shock horror!! I can totally confirm this! The long wooden tables are a fantastic and social way to let your guests interact and enjoy the wedding breakfast. We used tall glass vases filled with a statement arrangement at the top which offers texture, interest and impact within the height of the ceiling. These were interspersed with lower glass vases with seasonal hand tied to spread the flowers throughout. I also placed lots of clear glass and blush glass candlesticks throughout with coloured taper candles. The ruby red and blush pink candles are just way more exciting than your average white candle!
