I provided wedding flowers for the most beautiful wedding in the Cotswolds back in the summer and can’t wait to share these photos from Taylor Barnes Photography with you! Rhiannon and Tom were married in Cricklade and chose gorgeous wedding flowers in ivory, soft peach and blush tones. This wedding was expertly planned and style by Jessie Thomson Wedding and Events and there were so many beautiful touches throughout the day making this one of the prettiest weddings I have worked on. Rhiannon chose a natural looking trailing bouquet to carry on her big day, filled with the most stunning David Austin ‘Juliet’ rose, ivory dahlias, peach lisianthus with astilbe and astrantia to add lots of soft texture. I focused on using soft grey eucalyptus with trailing asparagus fern and jasmine trails to add the wispy nature of the bouquet. I love the photo of Rhiannon and her Dad, such a lovely moment captured!
The marquee was dressed with an abundance of soft blush, ivory with lots of foliage. I alternated taller vases and lower glass vases for the tables, this gives a really effective look and provides colour and interest throughout the whole marquee rather than just at one level. This look works well within all venues and I recommend it as something to consider if you are planning your own wedding flowers. Â I created a huge floral chandelier in the ceiling for an impressive focal point. Behind the top table a floral garland was placed in a sweeping motion, this provided great colour against the soft draping of the marquee and framed the top table perfectly. An alternative idea to the more traditional long and low trailing arrangement.
How stunning are these cafe au lait dahlias?! Dinner plate dahlias are just amazing and when combined with the soft trailing foliage, and textured astilbe and dill create a really classy look.
This beautiful cake was created by Curtis and Co and all it needed was a sweet little cake topper of roses and lisianthus placed on the top tier, I love the gold lustre effect of the middle tier it really does look too good to eat!
