Autumn beauty at Dillington House

I know we are all hopping into spring right now, however I received these beautiful photos from an autumn wedding in Somerset at Dillington House. Amy and Jack were married in October which has an absolute bounty of autumn delights such as berries, foliage, dahlias, seed heads! Just check out this beauty here, photos from Danna Geen Photography.

Amy choose a rich colour scheme of reds, burgundy and blush tones with lots of mixed green foliage. I worked around these insane dahlias which are locally grown, big blousy red ones, and smaller plum pom pom ones! I also used rose hips which are perfect in October, pale pink astilbe, spray roses with ferns, eucalyptus and continus foliage.

The boys wore tied mixed buttonholes of blush and red spray roses, berries, foliage sprigs tied with twine.

I dressed Dillington House with tall glass vases filled with large natural arrangements of roses, dahlias, spray roses, snap dragons with loads of autumnal foliage. I placed smaller glass bottles throughout the taller vases, spreading the colour throughout. The room looked really beautiful with those rich, sumptuous autumn tones!
