Almonry Barn Wedding Flowers – Sonu and Akbar

I have the most beautiful wedding flowers at Almonry Barn to share with you today! One of the most stunning wedding venues around, this beautiful barn played host to Sonu and Akbar’s big day last weekend. Focusing on seasonal late summer flowers in ivory, peach, pinks with hints of plum I absolutely loved flowering this wedding!

For Sonu’s bridal bouquet I used some beautiful English dahlias grown less than 10 miles from my workshop! I stumbled across Pipley Flowers on Twitter and was thrilled when I found out how close Liz’s flower farm is. Pale pink dahlias, with stunning peach dahlias alongside Sweet Avalanche and Peach Avalanche roses, lisianthus and astrantia. I also used lots of various foliage to add texture, such as eucalyptus and senecio. I am sure you will agree those dahlias are knockout!

I decorated Almonry Barn with ivory candelabras filled with a lush arrangement of Cafe au Lait dahlias, hydrangeas, stocks, lisianthus, astrantia and roses. The perfect table decorations, adding height and lots of colour against the soft stone walls of the barn. I adore the fairy light canopy at the barn, so pretty!

Cute pots of flowers were placed on the tables to hold the table number, and a single flower or rosemary sprig was placed on each napkin. I hung a floral heart in the entrance of the barn and rustic, wooden boxes were filled with flowers to decorate the bar. Congratulations Sonu and Akbar!!
