The Lost Orangery, The Cotswolds

The brief for this private dining event was seasonal, elegant and stylishly colourful, so we opted with butter yellow blooms and zingy green foliage including some of the most divine peonies I have ever seen.

Tumbling seasonal blooms in low ceramic bowls were placed down the centre of the outdoor dining table. The colour of the fresh green foliage complemented the spring green linen perfectly, truly making the yellow florals pop. I included lots of locally grown blooms such as butterfly ranunculus, poppies, foxgloves, pansies and ranunculus. Ceramic votives and low bowls with flower frogs added that stylish modern touch in between the naturally, elegant flower filled larger arrangements.

Working with wedding planner Lauren at Bluebird Creative we collaborated to make a truly stylish and unforgettable outdoor dining experience in the grounds of Euridge.

Aside from the dining table, guests were treated to a drinks reception outside on the lawn overlooking the beautiful boat house and lake. The gardens at Euridge are the epitome of the quintessential English country garden aesthetic, what better place to enjoy a cocktail in the sunshine?

Stylish green velvet sofas were laid out on the lawn to create an intimate seating area, where we placed statement meadow florals in between. The cream scented stocks, locally grown foxgloves, zingy viburnum really added some texture and interest to this seating area.

A lovely stone vase full of a natural asymmetric arrangement was placed on the bar, alongside welcome sign florals to greet guests. It is these floral touchpoint that should never be overlooked as they contribute to creating a cohesive look throughout the whole event.
