Estee and John – Cotswolds Wedding Flowers
Spring wedding flowers have to be some of my favourites, and John and Estee’s flowers are no exception! I met with Estee and her future Mother in Law at the wedding venue, The Bear of Rodborough before Christmas and we discussed in detail the types of flowers that were important to use in the wedding. Estee wanted all seasonal flowers and a colour scheme of ivory, bright greens with a touch of pale pink.
Estee’s bouquet was filled with scented narcissi, white anemones, pae pink ranunculus, ivory tulips with one of my all time favourites viburnum opulus. The lush, lime green flower is absolutely beautiful and can stand alone or nestled in amongst other flowers as I used it here. I used a variety of foliage in Estee’s bouquet including rosemary, myrtle, eucalytpus topped off with sprigs of pussy willow. This provided scent and plenty of texture which I always recommend to brides, especially when wanting to use seasonal wedding flowers.
The bridesmaids carried a similar verision of Estee’s bouquet. Whilst the gents had ranunculus buttonholes with sprigs of spring greenery. I decorated the church with spring pew ends, and placed a gorgeous vintage style urn at the altar which was a lovely natural arrangement of tulips, anemones, pussy willow, ranunculus and narcissi. This was then taken on to the reception and enjoyed for the following week after at home! The tables of the venue were decorated with glass vases filled with all the lovely spring flowers featured in the wedding.
Lots of Love to Estee and John, who are now away honeymooning!
