Easter Wedding Flowers – Crowcombe Court

My third and final wedding of Easter weekend was the lovely Hatti and Leon, who were married at Crowcombe Court at the foot of the Quantocks. The Quantocks has to be one of my favourite places so I am always extra excited when I get to deliver wedding flowers, Crowcombe Court is no exception… A stunning country house situated in rolling hills. After delivering the flowers we went on a dog walk in the hills followed with a hot beef baguette and a pint at the local pub… It was Easter Sunday after all!

Hatti’s wedding theme was navy and cerise pink, her hand tied bridal bouquet was filled with avalanche roses, the palest pink sweet avalanche roses, cerise ranunculus and cerise tulips. The stems were bound with navy ribbon forming a neat finish to the bouquet. Hatti wanted a neat, compact bouquet full of roses and spring flowers, it is always nice to add the seasonal touch and nod to spring, which I did by using the tulips and ranunculus.

The five bridesmaids wore navy dresses and carried hand tied bouquets of all cerise flowers, including aqua roses, cerise tulips and cerise ranunculus. The mass of hot pink flowers looked really effective and would have really stood out against the navy dresses. The boys wore cerise rose buttonholes and very smart they looked too! The lucky couple escaped to honeymoon after the wedding so I’ll look forward to seeing more pictures on their return! Huge congratulations from The Rose Shed!
